Where exactly you deliver will be detailed on the collection menu for each respective commodity.
In essence, they're point scorers, and you bank these points by successfully dropping them off at a relevant destination.
Have you joined a power? The contact probably won't show unless you do.
Depending on the state of the system, you can pick up and drop off power commodities here.
Power commodities can be picked up in quantities dependent on your rank with the power. You can also drop off salvage, escape pods, personal effects, and claim any care packages you have earned.
As an Archer supporter - my specific commodities are Archer Garrison Supplies, Archer Field Supplies & Archer Restricted Intel o7

I'm compiling a list of names and functions of all the Galactic Powers' Power Play deliverables / commodities. For Archer, could you tell me the function of each of his? Which one for reinforcement, which for acquisition, which for undermining? Thank you in advance o7
Get them from Odyssey settlements on foot.
Acquisition is the activity, unoccupied is the state.
Reinforcing is the activity, exploited/fortified/stronghold is the state
Undermining is the activity, enemy-owned is the state.
There's a second fly-out menu on the galmap with activities instead of states.
Ahhh! Okay thanks! I think what doesn't help are all the streamers saying, "...and next? We'll look for a system that's in acquisition, to sell these rare commodities (for example)..." That's what finally told me, "Ah...so unnocupied means acquisition... But what about substate? Will any do? Or do I need to find one exactly in the substate that he is in?" So, I was seeing/ hearing all of this mismatching terminology but it's not reflected in the Galmap and I guess because of ADD(?), I'm hyper focused on the tiniest of wording/ details (at least when it's something I could be bothered with lol), so I can make these connection and be sure. The fact that I still couldn't make this connection, or find the logic behind it was irritating me, and found myself saying, "...well? I guess you want to acquire something that isn't occupied? Maybe?" 😂
For reinforcement? I just reasoned that as "fortified must mean reinforced..." Again, when there are no directly detectable connections? I have to create my own connections, to understand what I am doing. 😂 Thanks for clearing that up! I've seen this comment out there, about the terminology not matching up but I think we were all missing that it was a on-foot activity.
I scared myself out of on foot activities, in the early Odyssey era because my first missions were to take down a wanted target, something normally easy to do (and I'm normally pretty good at first person shooters) and then the whole facility would be after me and I'd end up just as wanted as the dude I was after...which is the completely different behavior than what I'm used to at nav beacons (for example). So, I tried the stealth element out and even though I was hidden I couldn't take the subject down fast enough without causing a ruckus and so? Again, the whole facility would be on alert and security would be after me and flagging me as wanted so I said "F this! I'll stick the space." Well, that and what tool to use, how to equip it... But mostly I think it was the engineering. I was so soured about it the first time around, when it was implemented, back in the Xbox days...namely about the unlocking of the engineers And so I avoided it until I realized, about 2 years later that a rated ships didn't mean the same thing as I used to and that I had to to be competitive. So, with regard to onfoot? Mostly, I guess I just felt I could avoid the temptation all together by not doing on foot lol
Well he's not going to be able to answer you here is he?
