Multi purpose ship advice ?
First of all im not interested in my ship doing anything that well . casual player here .

is there a ship that can do everything meaning

fighter bay

mining

passenger lounge

multi crew

exploration .

this is my casual game session idea .

core mine a rock

deliver a on foot package

drop of a passenger

bounty hunt with fighter bay crew

exo biology a plant all in one outing .

as i said previously im not bothered if its low profit i just want to have variaty outings .

Also silent running is important as itll make it so they cant find you. warning thou larger ships tend to bake and expecially the krait that has temp issues from the start.

it was a bug. iirc there was a time when the mechanic just wasnt working. I think when odyssey first droped?

Also something to consider for the multi crew.

If you really got friends you play with consistently consolidate money and get a F.C.
This is more specific as it will let you have someone in combat oriented ships while you are doing mining expeditions. It will also make money handling more streamlined when it comes to divvying up mining materials. You can buy whatever materials they gather then sell it yourself.

This is specific to mining but can be used for anything from Exploration, Mining, Trading. And i havnt heard anyone use it for this but should be good for passenger missions too.

The major benefit to this is the ability to move your fleet around for calling ships into stations you want.

Other uses for F.C is mass trading expecially if you get a group. Really makes use of Python's best in class for medium trading. Buy a bunch of gold sell it to F.C then buy from F.C and sell it to a high sale location.

Assentially what im saying is F.C is a good consideration for a "Multi roll, multi crew ship"

granted you dont fly it like normal and it does have upkeep.

yes this is true but the issue I have now is every hazardous resource site I find has a security uplink error so I'm unable to make large credits quickly has this changed in game I'm finding high resource sites medium and low in the same system without the error and all systems I've explored hazardous resources have this issue
Haz sites don't have security; it is reflected in the name.

High/med/low not having security is a reflection on the bgs and the system security level.

Actually I usually don't do core mining, I run more mining lasers there but otherwise that is what I go for.

Also I just realized, I don't have a passenger bay. I usually find those missions pointless so I don't even attempt them anymore outside of using the prebuilt beluga. You could replace a cargo bay with a passenger slot though.

The Imperial Cutter can do everything except land at an outpost/settlement or the rough terrain of certain planets. It's much better at fighting than the Type-10, has way more cargo than an Anaconda or Corvette, and has the strongest shields in the game. It's fully combat capable, though recommended to use gimballed weapons with reverse thrust build to keep your weapons lined up with your target. And it can carry ~450-512 tons of cargo while being outfitted for bounty hunting.

The main thing it lacks is jump range, but I had no trouble at all flying one all the way to Colonia, Sagittarius A*, and back to the bubble. It just took more jumps than it would take a dedicated exploration ship.
