Does power plant affect power distributor?
If we choose B or less for the power plant will it affect power distrubutor and things like weapons or stuff like weapons is only dependent on the distrubutor?

i think distrubutor effect weapons and so on power plant only effects how much power does your ship have and what thing it can have and amount of weapons you can have.

In a way yes, it does as the power plant supplies power to your modules. If you have weak power plant and not enough power to feed into the power distributor the latter will not function as expected.

But if we have A rated things at the highest size we should get the max output or whatever from an A rated, highest size power distributor?

As far as I know lesser your plant - slower your distributor capacitors recharge.

Once you have enough power to power everything, excess power is wasted. Of course, many of us overdraw on our powerplant and use priorities to squeeze every last Mj out of the system.

However, the rate of draw is not affected by the PP. You either have enough power or you do not.

One important point is that class A has better heat dissipation than class B, etc, so when you are running a hot configuration, class A can really help.

Yes, if you can fit a 4 class power plant into your ship, then 4A power plant will be the max you can have and this should be enough for your 4A power distributor.
