Microsoft Sidewinder 3D Pro
Hey guys, i recently started playing elite. And since I sill had an old joystick, I wanted to try it out. I bought an adapter to get it into an USB-drive but my PC (Windwos 10) does not recognize the joystick and fails to install the drivers. Can anyone help me with it?

Did you check if there are bespoke drivers on the manufacturer website for the USB/gameport adapter? You may also need to play with the mode toggle on the switch on the bottom right next to the cable.

As far as i know there are no drivers for Vista or higher. Google didn't bring me any further. I fear that the format is dead :/
