you might be able to play in low settings but I dont know... considering you can get a refund if you buy through steam and ask for the refund before you have played more than 2 hours...

minimum requriment is a GTX 260, your card is actually a little better in some areas and a little weaker in others...

It is not quite that clear.
260 is an old mid-range desktop card.
525m is a newer (but still old) near bottom tier mobile card.

but mostly the gt260 is better... so i would try it if he is desperate and see for himself.. his video ram is higher than the 525ms and a slightly higher clockspeed... btu I doubt it makes up for the rest where it is weaker

Well it should coz i am using a nvidia gt-540m 2gb only losing 10fps then entering a docking station and use Supersampling @ 0.75X
