Pre-Modded ships
They are like pre-modded modules, can't change them after.

Great for people who want to do something specific in the game from the start, ie: do some combat; then buy a combat mod as a shortcut to doing that and having fun in the game without a grind

It does not give them an advantage, just a shortcut to "do" something they want to do in the game and gain enthusiasm for the game.

Advanced (grinders) players can do better ships and customise their mods for their specific game play style.

If you have played the game a lot over the past couple years then you have made enough ARX in game to buy the early access to the Python 2

For us long term dedicated players, WE HAVE A SUPERCHARGER AND ITS AWSOME! ... Hutton is a joke now, yoohoo

Hope they add some really deep-space stuff to go get with it, hint to Dev

Hats off to Dev for the way they executed this, it does not cheat any long term players, nor does it make the game pay to win.

Not only that, you can start even more new threads about the same topic, over and over again!

Also, if you get the new pre-release of the Python with ARX, you get just one
if you want more you will have to wait until available at stations

How about a thread within a thread?

Let me start....

Hey, did you also hear they're now offering pre-built ships you can buy,

You can buy the PYTHON MK II STELLAR, PYTHON MK II STANDARD, LASER MINING JUMPSTART TYPE-6, EXPLORATION JUMPSTART DIAMONDBACK EXPLORER, and AX COMBAT JUMPSTART ALLIANCE CHIEFTAIN.

You can buy these from the Elite Dangerous website store.

What do you mean by "WE HAVE A SUPERCHARGER" Besides the carrier gimmick, how do you get to hutton faster than the 1 hour 22 min flight time?

I think he means the SCO FSDs, which allow you to boost while in supercruise, at the expense of heat increase, massive fuel consumption, and outside if the Mk2 Python, a very wobbly path when overboosting.

I bought the type 6 just to see what all the hype was about.
In no way is it a pay to win.
Its no better than an A rated type 6 mining ship and still does not have enough slots for even a docking computer.
The mining lasers are nice but you cannot use them on anything else as you cannot dismount and store them.
Waste of money really.

Could be just me, but Having the option to buy a pre-built kills a bit of the magic of ED.

ED for me is one oif the most unique games I ever played.
600hr talk for it self, only Dark Souls and Skyrim are close to that playtime on mine.

I remember when I bought it, not being able to finish a single tutorial, feeling overwhelmed by the vast space, roaming around trying to understand the game, Looking for cool ships but being to poor to buy nothing.

Then I started to research, started a courier job for the empire and after a few days, bought my Dolphin to star the robigo Airlines S.L.
Now I sit on a good amount of credits, have a few combat ships, 2 ingeniered ships, a jumper and a explorer, aiming for a FC on the future...

If I had the oportunity to buy a prebuilt back then I really doubt this game would be what it is to me, the journey is what inmerse you in ED universe for me

I think the same way, but surely you have noticed the incessant whining of the Instant-Gratification-Brigade: "Oh the grind is too much I've been playing for 7 minutes already and I still don't have an Anaconda parked on my own fleet-carrier!!!eleven!1!!one"

The worst part is that the Conda is (For me) Really overrated.

I have one and ended up selling it bc I love mosquito builds like Imperial Clipper or Eagle
