ETA: it doesn't make the existing ones 'worse', it just makes the SCO a better choice when fitting a new drive.
No they have longer range too. About 8% more.
My old Python was already A rated so I bought a 5A sco. it was all it was missing
You still have to engineer your drive if you want it to boot faster cause I have a 5A sco. and it takes 15 seconds to engage but once in supercruise man does it fly
Edit: I've also gained 3 Ly overall with it, nothing else but the drive change

Yeah but of course people are going to use it. People are impatient.
So an A-Rated SCO is like an A+ FSD, or maybe even call it an S-Rated Drive.
SCO is better hands down, engineered or not.
