U18 TITAN ATTACK
Edit: video from https://www.youtube.com/@TheBuurPit just to avoid confusion.
There may be a surprise after the hotfix today as per twitter statement.
"503" is a server code, so a bit of inside humor there. XD
Update: 1-5% damage on Taranis now. Let's goooooooooooooo!!!
I don't know what I am seeing there.
You mentioned "100 systems" I was pretty sure the Thargoids controlled several hundreds of systems and expanding...
The thargoid War Progressed pretty steadily, Most Thargoid Maelstroms were reduced quite significantly about 6 months ago. Coordinated strikes by player groups hit them hard, ground invasions began being repelled rapidly. With the loss of ground invasions more combat occurred around stations, defensive fighting largely came to a stand still, AXI and friends pushed inward on Taranis and leigong and have reduced Taranis below 10 Controlled systems (at one point I think it was just the maelstrom system itself) Leigong is Presently sub 20
Oya stands at 42, Indra 86, Thor 71
The 3 Largest are Raijin hadad, and Cocijo all over 100 but none larger tahn 121 currently.
For the region of space that the bubble is "hundreds" is less than 600 systems (down over 1000) from the initial invasion force.
Their sphere of influence has only shrunk after the early months. As we round on 2 years of war the territory has dramatically reduced. I mean hundreds is still technically accurate, but the total controlled systems is only 535
Yes to both! I am on a carrier (Funky bus) that does Newbie tours waaay out of the bubble. We have been to the edge of the galaxy 2 months ago. It was spectacular.
Anyway, back to the "out of touch", I am completely out of touch, I just read the galnet news. I play solo for a few hours per week, aboard that carrier and when we're in the bubble, I do some basic fetch quests.
I do not do combat. I do not seek out Thargoids etc.
So, WE ARE winning!
Second - starts off the same as above, only this time. I'm acting all cocky thinking they'll just scan me again. I've got no Thargoid items onboard. Errr, nah. They attack as soon as I'm out of hyperspace. I was dead quicker than you can say Waters of Shintara.
And ok I'll admit I went looking for the second, just to see what they would do. It was a small Sidewinder so no huge cost. After that, I made sure I kept away from Thargoid controlled space. They look amazing in-game, but my combat skills really are so pathetic.
The Bubble is big enough that I had to look for them to bump into them.
