That would be regular marketplace though, not the on-foot bartender.
However you must trade enough items to see the +1 click over. The trade rate is different depending on what you're trading. TC is a pretty low trade rate for many things.
Let's pretend that your two objects are worth 4 and 5 instead. We have 4+5=9, but you will always receive only one object, if you chose the one worth 7, and the other 2 points (or credits) will be lost.
Let's pretend you have three items worth 4 and one item worth 2, the result 4+4+4+2=14, and you can claim two of its items worth 7, because 7+7=14, and you don't lose any points (or credit).
