Game freezing for a split second every 2-3 seconds

Hey everyone. I just started the game up and suddenly I'm getting random freezes regularly every few seconds. It only freezes for like half a second, but it is happening no matter where I am or what I'm doing. It wasn't like this the other day and seems to be happening whether on Horizons or Odyssey. Really confused and could use some help. I've checked a few other posts on here and reddit but none seem to exactly what is happening to me.

GPU is 43c. I just changed all settings in-game to low as well as changing some thing in the Nvidia control panel and nothing has changed. Reinstalling the game to see if that works.

No change. Still intermittent freezing and gpu is steady around 54c. Also getting around 70-80FPS which is weird for Odyssey..

Hmm it isn't throttling then. Those temps are well within range. Very odd. You are going to need to fire up Performance Monitor and Resource Monitor and see what is happening.

Playing in open? Might just be lag from a bad instance.

i had stuttering like this in vr when afterburner was running. so if you have any monitoring software running, try turning it off.

Resource monitor isn't showing anything off. Game is running fine other than the actual freezing. I tried solo play, closing any monitoring programs, and a comp restart, complete fresh reinstallation and I'm not playing on VR. It's so weird, I mean the other day it was completely fine with everything knocked up to Ultra, but now the frames are still high apart from this freezing. It's completely unplayable like this as when it does freeze any input is lost so dogfighting or any bounties I'm after become really tedious to interdict down. Thanks for the help guys, seems like another ED issue that might just need time to resolve itself. <3

It was off, but I just turned it on and no difference. :( I just want to work towards ma next ship :(((

V sync on and limit frame rates to 60 and also refresh rate to like 59.9 something .... might be dis balanced settings from the monitor

I tried this and it seemed to smooth out the game for like 10 seconds but then just reverted to the same freezing. What I'm trying to figure out is what happened between yesterday and Saturday that caused this. So annoying now.

windows or gfx driver update?, have you tried in "offline" mode to see whether it still occurs?....strange issue indeed, especially if it's only ED...

Driver updates, perhaps?
The latest Nvidia driver messed with Horizon 5 - maybe it messed with ED as well.

strange thing was happening a while ago early this evening, inside the gal map

As most will probably of realized if you check to look for your pre updates, bookmarks, i find that they are no longer listed, however the markers are still highlighted on the map itself, So this gave me a thought as i really want those bookmarks returned i have some important locations that i wanted to keep tabs on....so i filtered the map to just show them and then went to each of the star systems with bookmark markers in sequence...inside each systems local solor system, i noticed that virtually all the locations were marked "unknown" but the bookmark was still present, so i deleted it and then re added it and voila now they appear in my bookmarks list....but while i was doing this err correction the game froze for all of 20-30 seconds every time, but at least now i have my important locations again..
