grinding CQC

Hi, I wanna grind cqc ranks so that i can get access to that one station in the main game, i've never tried it before and just wanna know which gamemode has the most players/ is easiest to grind; I don't really like pvp and would rather get it over with as quickly as possible

It will take *months* to grind Elite in CQC, plus it's hard to find a match.

Easiest Elite to get is exploration, followed by trade and exobiology.

Explorer or trade would be your best bets. Trade is good if you want to core mine valuable materials to sell, explorations is just... Well... Exploring

well i understand what you both mean, i'm almost elite in exploring, but I wanna specifically get the permit for Attilius Orbital, which requires level 50 in CQC.

Reaching prestige in CQC will grant you a permit for CD-43 11917 system.

Cqc is a desert, get a friend to play with and instance a lot togeather.

There's a streamer (RPGEmmaB) who organises CQC sessions every saturday. If you want to find matches that's the time to play.

This thread got me curious about CQC. I just watched a random CQC video on Youtube and was impressed. I have to wonder why it didn't take off. While I don't think it would suit me to play, it was fun to watch. Was poor match-making really the reason or some other factor?

I know, for me just watching the video I got a bit woozy; watching some of the rapid vector changes, playing it would probably be worse.

There are some issues with matchmaking - e.g. if you make a team of 4 friends and try to start a match, you can't join a lobby where it's currently got 1 or more on each side already. So you sit there waiting and waiting, and the others sit there waiting and waiting ...

You can actually queue for CQC while playing Odyssey/Live though, so there's no need to sit around for ages just waiting.
