(Need Help) Must have 3rd Party Tools?
Any recommended must download/connect/register 3rd party tools for the game? EDMC - EDDiscovery is what i have right now.
Im NOT looking for something useful for me. I can check those in internet guides etc. I need the ones with that tracks your logs etc to help crowd sourced info right now.

You could look on elite dangerous codex, they have 259 third party tools to chose from.

EDDiscovery has a lot of opaque features- there's a decent chance that it can be set up to do whatever you need it to do, either natively or with a plugin.

Finding out how to set that up though, that's what drives people to all the other options.

I use EDDI. Kinda like having a second Covas. My regular one is Leo (huge Red Dwarf fan, so had to have Holly, naturally), but EDDI goes into more detail on a lot of things.

Same here. EDMC just sits in background and does its magic of updating those places.

Sometimes gets confused when using multiple accounts... I have to make sure the API key is the correct one each time. My alt that has never been to Colonia, is allied with the Colonia council... While my main who should be allied, isn't... (according to Inara).

EVERYTHING you can find. Odyssey assumes you are a perfected Expert. (The Tutorial says that clearly) So yes DL any advantage you can get. Then die a lot grinding to Level 5 suit & weapons, which is required to live long enough to get to past Level 3 equipment. So ANY advantage is encouraged, because the FDEVs obviously hate "leg" players.

If you think it is "grinding" you should perhaps not do it.
I don't get all these grinding players. Are they stupid? Get a life.
Even just in this game there are so many things to do, why do things you think are grinding?
Because they give the most money? IT IS A GAME! You play to have fun!
Grinders are stupid. All of them.

Also it gives burnout. I did it in other games. Try to have fun meanwhile you're doing something. Same goes for real life boys. Im not an old man giving advice but it's true.
