As for me AspExplorer with speed modifications (fast and silent station approaches) good for quick delivery missions. While Python with 192t cargo hold perform pretty well for some extra cargo missions (good reputation rears).
At least you will be able to build you carrier in Imperial navy up to Imperial Cutter. May be not now but it won't be a waste of your time.
Nagallinn is a data delivery run, i cant remember the distance of the jump but i guess anything with a A rated FSD will do (i did it in an imperial eagle once).
Thanks, I know the journey there isn't a very long one by any measure however what I would really like to know is whether or not going there, where I assume I will have neutral influence with the mission agents (and as such less missions and probably less profitable missions overall) is worth it for the ~140% reputation gain I need to get to Baron as the mission agents in the local systems are all maxed out and I can usually pick up a Rep++++ (let's just call that "rep4" from now on as I use it a lot in a bit and it looks messy with all the +es) mission from them easily.
Or would the sheer number of agents at Ngalinn and Station layout in the nearby systems allow me to run multiple rep2 or 3 missions at a time and gain me more faction rep than just running one or two rep4 or 3 mission at a time.
You pick 20 missions at Ngalinn and 10 missions at Mainani the entire loop takes 10minutes and you get from zero to hero in 4-5 hours tops.
My suggestion to you is to pick a fast sublight ship like a Viper or a Courier, cuz you will spend most of the time autodocking. You need nothing but speed on it. It is all data delivery missions.
Also for some reason I had assumed the Clipper was medium sized, maybe it was the price, or the hardpoints. I might still get it as it reminds me of the Thorax/Deimos/Phobos out of EvE and is all round beautiful. Much nicer than the Federation's selection of bricks with fins.
And yes, the Clipper is large. Gutamaya doesn't make medium-sized ships. "If it's not big, it should be small and fast, if it's not the fastest, it should be big and beautiful" :). The splendor of the Clipper simply could not be contained in a medium size. For the Emperor!
