BEWARE THOSE HEADING TO LHS 3447!
There are currently 2 hostile Fed Corvettes attacking any lone commanders in the system. If you plan on heading to that system for the community goal, watch out for those two hostile corvettes.

You were flying something you couldn't rebuy? Bad idea. Best to wait until you can pay insurance and then some before flying.
I think he meant running out of any more rebuy capital with his last death, so won't risk it in the Python - as he cannot afford to die in it again - but he has enough for the FAS and would be happy to come and assist in killing the Corvettes.
Exactly.

Fly something smaller until you can have about 3-4 python rebuys.
I techincally can. I got around 7 ships. A FAS, Python, Type 7, fully outfitted ASP, and a fully outfitted DBE to name my most expensive. If need be, I can sell the Type 7 in case of emergencies. You must be wondering. Why so many ships? I'm a ship collector, and my goal is to own all the ships I want in this game. (Yes, I am fully aware how much time needs to be spent grinding to get all the ships I want.)
Well you should start out by making money. It's always a good idea to have enough funds before buying and outfitting a ship. How much spent on assets?

these topics are all the same and they keep reminding me why Mobius is so Massive as a Group... over 20K strong.

im gonna go to LHS 3447 with a Big MOBIUS banner on my ship to recruit more :p

The NPCs interdict anyone at anytime and anywhere. They will open fire without provocation at times and they will destroy you regardless of what you are flying. Why is this ok but when players do it, its somehow more aggregious? Ridiculous.
You have a very good point in there. Sounds stupid and ridiculous being annoyed by one kind of defeat only and welcome all the other - you either embrace the idea of a dangerous universe and learn to roll with it, or really try something else..

I think the only thing makes a difference is the way humans play as opposed to NPCs. No NPC would ask for docking permission to have a ten minute window inside a station and then ram peps as they try to land, or go around landing sites and blasting ships apart while their owners are away in their SRVs, or infiltrate a PvE only group and go on a killing spree when the time is ripe, or start "fishing" among the sideys looking for vet players using the sidey to system transfer. This sort of ingenuity scares a lot of folks who - for one reason or an other - do not want more of this game but a relaxing experience. In their eyes these players are just invading, arrogant idiots.. and they also have a point.

If I had time as much as I don't, I would put together a "pvp watch" or "griefer watch" and roleplay a sort of guardian/enforcer team who galantly protects the "innocent" when called - just imagine what cool battles would ensue from such a thing. Oh and I would grow some more chest hair and rename my nick to Longstar Hasselhoff.

After the CG is over they won't need protecting. The CG is bringing all the big ships in which is kind of nice.

PS... even if they were pledged to opposing faction/wanted etc unless they started shooting I'd never shoot someone in a sidey.

After that.... well if you are in any system in a python you are fair game.

I was JUST flying my sidewinder and got blown up in LHS 3447......*sigh*

Awesome. I think I might have seen you two coming out of the fight.

Mm, it'd be so fun to take a full wing of Vultures with dual T3 Plasma Accels versus these two. Nothing more terrifying than that, especially when you're slow.

Reminds me of a thread yesterday... some guy in a sidewinder got seal clubbed by an NCP FDL! 15km from a station.... not doing anything illegal either! Talk about NCP griefers!
