Diamondback Explorer or Asp Scout?

Hello everybody... have currently a fully outfitted Diamondback Explorer which i use only for long tours of exploring...I like it but what bothers me are the lack of more internal compartments...

Its either shields or AFMU but i would like to have both...safety first;)

so im looking at my money and the only ship with better compartments and better jump range is the Asp scout...

Good upgrade or not worth it?

Asp Explorer is the best sub 100mil explorer you can get, annaconda being the only better explorer. It has plenty of internals for all your needs.

Problem with the Asp scout is that you still only have 5 internals... so scoop, scanner, discovery scanner, afmu and shields fills you up (meaning no planets if you have horizons). If you don't have horizons you shouldn't have a problem.

ah damnit, i thought it would have more internals...

the thing is, i have roughly 20 million, 12 in the upgrades of the diamondback and 8 lying around...so asp explorer is still a long way off for me...and yes, i use the buggy so i need the space....♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥...

yeah, you could spend 50 mil as well, but not really needed :) also, if you had Horizons before the DLC thingy, check out the gold paint

thanks again...bought me an asp explorer directly afterwards...got one at Akkadia - Calvin Lawrence for a 15 % discount...

Outfittet it for 18 million - jump range 33.59ly which is fine for me...

And because i was so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ excited and im such a grandmaster at flying i rammed that thing into the first planet i tried to land on it...luckily "just" 70 percent damage...but that thing is so sexy looking with that golden paintjob that i would have been the sexiest splat on a planet surface;)

hell yeah, finally i can have afmu and shields...thanks again guys!

Glad you got it :) It is the second best ship for exploration (jump distance wise) so you can keep that thing for a looooooooong time if you don't make splats first haha
