In Deluxe version of Odyssey you get access to Alpha Version. A pre Beta. A Developers Version.

You also get access to the Original Sound Track and the Pioneer Suit Skin which one would assume would be a pre-order exclusive. Highly likely but potentially not definite. Also fairly likely it's only a skin but again it could potentially have some tangible/mechanical difference over other suits. Access to pre-release gameplay can be good though as it lets you plan things, although one must also bear in mind that elements of pre-release gameplay and mechanics will change, perhaps not a lot, perhaps a lot, it'll be variable. Really it boils down to how much of a fanatical nerd you are for the game. I'm one.

Indeed when trying to sell a more expensive version of a specific product you're more likely to be successful if you're able to clearly convey the differences in order to entice people in. Yeah it's scrolling and a button click but it's also very arguable that a lot of the info pasted above should be in your face at the top to begin with.

Haha, so true. I'd like to believe for once FD will release an update without breaking a dozen things, but its probably not going to happen.

Just don't plan any days off work for release week. Its usually not worth it.
