Where is the hub access terminal on a prospecting facility?

I am doing an assassination mission and it needs me to hack the terminal in a facility but I see no entrances, no terminals, only a few turrets. Is this a bug? Also when I landed my ship immediately took off and I'm going to have to walk a kilometre just to call it again.

In the shed near the landing pad, if it has one.

There was no landing pad. It was just a ramp and some storage devices. I think it was a classic Elite Dangerous settlement.

Might need to scan a data point with your SRV data link scanner? Sometimes you've got to scan a few other things to unlock it first... Where is it? If I'm nearby, I'll go and check it out.

You have to select the tower-like thing (from a distance of about 10-15m) and use the data link scanner.

It's meant to be done in an SRV but most ships can handle it. The python's nose is very long and gets in the way, but something like a Cobra or Vulture .. no problem.
