Question about frontier account visbility

When I create a Frontier account what part of my account is visible to other people, if anything? My name, my email address?

For the forums, you can set up what is visible and what isn't under account options.
Otherwise it says on the tin:

I don't think it's an account to use for forums, I just created a Frontier account from the link given to me from elite dangerous so that I can play the game. The privacy policy stuff seems to be about what the company behind Elite Dangerous can see about my account, but what I mean is my account details like name and email address visible to like just anyone? Or anyone who knows my steam account, since they're linked?

i have never had any spam mail due to creating a Frontier account if that is what you are asking.

besides i am sure your Gov will have more info on you than you know about.

Normally not, but then i see people posting on Facebook asking about privacy and laugh my rear end off. :D

OP - none of the info you give FD to create your account is visible to anyone outside FD. When you create a forum account, then you can choose to tell people whatever you want on your profile, although you'd have to be silly to let people know your email address or anything else like that.
