How do I get a mbooni permit?
I know this was a CG reward a while back and may have been included in a few other things but how can I get ahold of that sweet axi gear?

I see by the screenshot you are in the Xi Wangda system? I did a check in EDSM, and route plotter shows that being 124.43 ly from the Mbooni system.

I don't think this permit is any different, and guidelines are you have to be within 20ly of the permit system (Mbooni) to get the mission for Permit Acquisition Opportunity.

So find a system within 20ly of Mbooni with a Azimuth Biotech faction, and I think you will find the mission.

Again, if you are 126ly away, that mission is not going to show.

oooo that's a really big catch 22, no, nobody has mentioned that yet. Seems the only system I should be focusing on is LHS 1163 as it's the only Azimuth system within 20 LY that fits the bill.

Great! I remembered that from going through the same thing. I wish they made it more clear, I only originally found out by doing a google search and looking at I think Reddit.

The Wiki makes mention that you have to be "close proximity", but doesn't say what the limit is, and it's sort of buried in there and casually mentioned

"Earning a Reputation level of Allied with the minor faction that controls distribution of the permit will cause that faction to offer an invitation mission at a station in a system in close proximity to the permit-locked system where that faction has a presence."

Hi all.
Just to clarify, all of the previously bugged permits should be working correctly now since the update.
Hootman is correct here; permit missions will only be given out within 20LY of the permit locked system in question, making LHS 1163 the only viable location for the Mbooni permit mission right now.
