New TTS voices for EDDI?

I'm trying really hard to get a fresh tts voice for EDDI, anything that isn't a windows standard, David, Mark, Zira, I got a couple free SAPI5 voices and I have no idea what to do with them. Clearly, opening the EXE files to "install" them isn't working, so what do I do, and while we're at it, where can I get trusted some more trusted free voices? I'm sure there are at least a couple nice resources out there with a few free voices.

There are several Windows Speech APIs, and some voices available on the desktop aren't usually available through the API. (I've written TTS software in the past, going back at least 20 years, and have delved into all this stuff a lot in the process.)

The issue is they're listed in the registry under different keys, so software cannot see all of them.

This link below tells you how to edit the registry (caution needed, highly recommend you take a backup of your system first if this is not something you've done before. You could wreck your Windows install with a keystroke.)
