Travel deeper in the void
&
Revenants guarding a new thargoid specialty POI on planets.
No need to go all the way out into the void to see new things however one can do as one pleases and play to have fun.
Inbetween ferrying some passengers from occupied & alert areas to the rescue ships, i am also in the process of unlocking quite a few permits in the bubble and wow so much content to find; recently found a "Debris field" that spawns in some rare treasure along with waves of pirates. I've gotten quite a few "First discoveries" there, and i found a couple of derelict megaships too. Also some signal satellites in various places.
-the area around Scylla is filled with mysteries.
You don't need to grind for xeno parts, you can buy enhanced multis at any rescue ship for cash, as well as the advanced Xeno scanner.
Fill a krait mk II with hull and module reinforcements, throw 1-2 grades of heavy duty engineering on those (grade 1 materials) and off you go.
With update 14 and 15 the content was unveiled over time, not all on day one.
FDev love their surprises, and at any moment playing ED you could be the one who finds something noteworthy - like the original Thargoid encounters.
You could turn a corner at a settlement and come face to face with a 3m high thargoid aiming to rip your face off. There's just no knowing, and that keeps the game fresh for me.
That would be great because settlement encounters are zzz easy even with no engineer G2 gear.
I am using Crossover to play ED on my Mac.
All was well until Update 16.
The Loader runs but no window opens.
Any ideas?
Thanks for any consideration.
why start a new post if you can hi jack another persons am i right?
The new launcher needs dotnet 4.8. If you run the official installer from Microsoft under Crossover that should fix it.
