How to escape from a thargoid after hyperdiction
As title.
I only have partially engineered ships as im not in a rush to complete engineering (just the basics like fsd and power plant and stuff) I got hyperdicted entering a system to do thargoid rescues, and i basically got one shot while waiting for my fsd to cooldown. Any advice how to actually survive long enough to supercruise out?

Boost, boost and an other boost.

Okay, it's hard to escape an interdiction, but it can be done...

Turn 180, fly right past it and then boost boost boost.

It can't turn and catch up quick enough to mass lock you, even if you're in a relatively slow ship.

You could always silent run and pop off heatsinks to avoid getting blasted. Most people engineer their drives though, G5 Dirty/Drag, as you need 350m/s at the very least to avoid any caustic missiles, and you want to be at 550m/s ideally as the hydras and medusas can move really fast.

Put your ship in a spin (the more eccentric the better) to avoid the damage attacks (also works for Tharg interdictions) and as above, boost, boost, boost until FSD returns.

Toggle Flight Assist OFF and spam boost until you can Framshift. If you get hit by the EMP you will keep drifting. Turn on Flight Assist only after the FSD has finished spooling up.

Other things that help:
Pop a heatsink and go into silent running while spamming boost.
Have a ship that can go faster than the Thargoids.

Boosting works best in my experience, and while in Thargoid Space I've been flying a Dolphin with a Shielded FSD as the only bit of engineering.
