Are account migrations from console ever coming back?

So had to sell my PC because lockdowns in 2020 and stuck with my PS4 and made almost a billion + skins and such. Wanted to migrate the account to steam since they aren't going to update console version ever again (rip) but seems It's not available anymore. I'm not up to date with FDev comms so anyone knows if it's gone for good? Or will it be back eventually. Kinda would suck to start "anew" after getting 2 elites and almost a billion Crs after mining opals like a maniac for a month and not being able to get it in any shape or form

The new Migration will be limited in some ways too, I don't remember exactly, but it was pretty bad. I think you might just be able to move liquid assets (Cash) so all ships, modules (Including engineering) rank and reputation prog, is not copied over.

Yeah i migrated to console when i sold my PC and they basically just give you all the money including the worth of your ships. No ranks or whatsover...which kinda sucks since i almost got triple elite but at least i can get my billion of credits... I forgot how tense it is to fly a ship with 6.000.000 insurance cost and barely 20.000.000 in my pocket lol

I'm just so worried I'm going to miss an announcement on when this opens back up, especially since I missed the first window of opportunity.

On XB1 I had every ship possible and 1B+ credits, so I'm really hoping I can get all that back.

Id at least keep the SSD. Motivation to get better and build another to play again. Just me
