OP, filter by last updated. That is about all you can do until things level out.
It's not unknown for commanders to stop syncing with Inara when they're exploring uncharted territory or looking for trading opportunities. E.g. a system in infrastructure failure ... turning off Inara syncing before docking at the stations so the whole world doesn't immediately see the market prices and descend on the place like a flock of seagulls.
