INARA trade route problems
So a month ago someone told me about INARA, and its made me a bunch of money. Only ever lost money once.
Back to playing the game and I guess there was an update (cuz now there is a legacy thing) and quite a few times I transport stuff and the price of the commodity I am buying is much higher while where I am selling is much lower. Is something wrong with INARA or am I on the wrong update?

It's about game changes and the fact routes not yet updated with new intel.

It could possibly be that a substantial portion of the population is playing Legacy and we know that has been split from Live. If that is the case then the updating of such sites as Inara will suffer in proportion to the amount of population that resides in Legacy.

OP, filter by last updated. That is about all you can do until things level out.

Inara only shows data from Live, not Legacy.

Live seemed only slightly better for pricing. But I may still run into $40,000 from 30 min ago, and rush over there to find it gives maybe $3,000 per item. Guess the best thing to do right now is sit and wait. Some routes potentially lost me $10,000,000. Least I sent the commodities somewhere else for less loss. 'w'

The problem with trading routes on Inara is that everyone else can see them too

It's not unknown for commanders to stop syncing with Inara when they're exploring uncharted territory or looking for trading opportunities. E.g. a system in infrastructure failure ... turning off Inara syncing before docking at the stations so the whole world doesn't immediately see the market prices and descend on the place like a flock of seagulls.

Same as discovery for oblivious reason. If you turn in the star charts and bioscans
to inara before selling em, and someone is at it? Well, you can kiss goodbye
to the first time preniums. A few days difference is well advised.

About making and posting screenshots when someone is after you?
Or about first discoveries,? Lethal mistake! Wait at least a few days
until the trail gets cold, or redact the sensitive parts.

Do not fret i am sure these third party tools will be updated so they can operate with the new update.

Remember these tools were made for original elite in 2015 not 6 years latter lol
