The overload tool won't work unless you have more than 20%, for example.
I think you don't understand. I can't bring any of these devices to appear on the screen. I click the button to bring up the welder, the charger, or identity scan. None will show up. Only the shield. Basically, if I were in a situation where I needed a free charge, I wouldn't get it because I can't bring up the charger. Only way around the issue is if I can get in the SRV or my space ship or exit/enter the game again. It doesn't happen often but when it does, there isn't anything to explain why they're no longer available.
Have you accidentally set the keys to (hold) mode, where you have then then hold them down for 2-3 seconds to activate?
So next time see if the issue will go away if you press the key responsible for chat.
I've done this thousands of times, in every game I've played that had a text chat function...
Save any custom profiles to your mouse. And then...
There was a Logitech update months ago that's been causing problems for some people (I've seen a ton of complaints about it, plus I use a G502 Hero and an ErgoM575 myself). Logitech are aware of the issue, but it's been over 6 months and no fix... Yet.
This applies to the GHUB, and the new LogiBolt applications. Especially if you use both (which I'm guessing you do?). Even with both apps blocked from startup, I was getting horrible hitching in loads of games until I uninstalled it.
From what I can remember the older "Logioptions" application (which logibolt has since replaced) didn't have the problem. But that was pointless for most people to use anyway, as it's not needed to connect use or configure anything. Just a sloppy gui giving access to basic mouse settings...
Also, if you're using the bluetooth dongle that came with the wireless mouse, plug it into a USB extension lead and move it away from the PC... Put it as close to where you use the mouse as you can. Sometimes it's not the software screwing up, but wifi interference making things go screwy. And don't use the USB pass through ports on your keyboard or monitor if you have them. While they may work, they may also cause lag or interference themselves.
I think what they need is to have an option in that lower-left menu where you can select the function you need it to do, when the keys aren't working.
For instance, in the SRV, when it came time to scoop something up, the damn cursor would not target what I needed to scoop up. It was frustrating running around and trying to adjust to it. But then I figured out I can go to the left hand menu and just select it there and then it's targeted automatically.
They need a similar option for the on foot tools, or at least it would help me with not having to restart a mission or reload. The game is already time-consuming enough without these glitches.
