Controller not working
I have a wireless PS3 controller masked as an Xbox 360 controller that works with literally any other game. However I can't seem to get it to work in this. Steam recognises it as a Xinput controller, then when I launch the game I just can't control anything at all with it.

Any suggestions? I'm also pretty sure I used it before to play the game around christmas, so it did use to work.

um this may sound funky to you, but... have you tried mapping your controls in the options menu yet?

The controls are mapped by default.
Also any input I do with the controller just does not get picked up by the game, making it impossible to remap any keys from the controller.

Ah you could try emulating an Xbox 360 controller then?

With this for example? http://www.x360ce.com/default.aspx

I've ran into similar problems when I wanted to play an FPS with my HOTAS :p

The controller already is emulating a 360 controller unfortunately

I have the same issue with both a 360 controler and the steam controller.
I can load preset configurations from Steam menu, but when the game launches, nothing i do to the controller is pickedd by the game.
Can't even scroll through main menu voices.
The same controllers work in any other game...

I just noticed this a year old thread. Nonetheless, make sure that when you're in the main menu you have 'default context' selected in the controls menu.

I would check the controls layout in steam for the controller.
Big picture and the new programmable features for controllers are quite advanced.
