Report a translation problem
The reason being that Apple refuses to support and impliment something that is required to make the Horisons expantion work. Not because they have something better, not even because they have something as good. And to boot, it was expected that Mac computers would have access to those programs, but Apple pulled the cord on that. So, even though Elite has made and programmed everything to run on Macs, Apple screwed Mac users over, and there isn't anything Frontier can do about it.
If you can, find some way to run Elite on a Windows OS.
But, yes, as everyone else has said, Mac and Windows are in the same galaxy, whereas X-Box players are not.
