How does one take an in-game Screen Capture?

CTRL + ALT + SPACE to enter the Camera mode (Warning! Doing this doesn't pause, so your ship is vulnerable) press again to exit.

F10 will take a screenshot and save it in My Pictures

Depending on your game mode the f10 can give you 4k shots..which are quite somthing!

Alternative, F12 should be the steam screenshot.

I'm using Gadwin PrintScreen (4.4). It's free and very easy/nice to use.

Alt+F10 is more than scrubby 4K, using it at 1920x1200 gives me 7680x4800px, 108MB files.

F10 takes screenshots at any time, also without entering the cam mode. I've it bound to my HOTAS so I can not only shoot enemies but also take pictures while doing it. ;)
