best way to get manganese?

I have been mining on surface for 2 hours . Got only 1 so far lol. Any suggestion would be appreciated.

Try metal rich pristine reserve rings.. You can get way more Manganese and other materials than you'd ever need in a very laid-back hour of mining. :)

ok so the planet has it on? In what %? (Check the system map)

Best idea is to take off, fly up into orbiatl cruise, find a nice big crater and land there and try again. I never stay on a planet for more than an hour without taking off, if you don't find it quick normally you'll not find at all.

i dont think you have to take off....yiu can just quit to main menu and log back in.

I agree with him, rings are better for mining, but it's just my own opinion based on my own experience
