Small trade routes for noobs

Are there any trade routes in the starting area? I've just bought the game a week ago and i would like to see how trading feels like.

https://eddb.io/ is what most ppl use to find good trade routes. but since you are just starting out and have very little cargo space, I would recomend tring a couple courier missions. maybe some bounty hunting in a low res site tagging along behind some of the system authorities.

when you looking to get into "bulk" trading, trading cargo without mission, go on your galaxy map and on filter tab the 4th, go for the last on the drop down tradingdata.

then you get some animated color lines which indicate commodity types and where they are starting and end in. thats a good indicator where the commodity traffic is at.

furthermore you can go for systems map and click on a station, outpost or surface harbor and go the systems map 2nd tab which show major details of selected station. there will be an Import/Export column.

later on you might realize and not to spoil delving game fun on you that some stations economys are very lucrative to each other.

I've started to get the hang of the trade system from the galaxy map and have used that a bit, but i realized that trading really isn't for me. Thanks anyway, at least i know how to do it now

This is a rare trade route u only buy the commodities that are in yellow and move on. Do not relog into solo or online just grab what they have move sell buy new rares and move on.

that was my response to bulk trading too. way to dry for me. while for other players/cmdrs its nice to do.

i rather pick hauling missions. i made my first couple of billions with it.

oh yes Rare-trading might be fun for a beginning player! it's lucrative. i missed it on my starting days as i didn't know about that type of trading. i stuck with mining back then until i got my first 100million earned

I've heard about rare-trading, but i haven't tried it yet. Well, if it's more profitable than normal trading i might give it a shot actually. Thanks!
Also, i have managed to buy and upgrade a cobra pretty well imo (shields suck and weapons feel like toys though). Do you think i should buy a hauler or an adder and trade using those? (i have 2mil credits and i don't mind buying either of them

No the cobra is good ig u get interdicted by pirate submit boost and jump.......I have never been stopped by pirated doing that run so u should be ok

Yeah, i know, i once made the mistake of trying to beat an interdiction, failed, and then died in like 10 hits
