How to recall limpets?

they are also cargo- if we do some simple logic a dock and recharge on my limpet ejector would be FAR more effecient and the actual way people would design the system. it's not like we're trying to reuse a well nosed klenex by letting it dry here...

i'd totally take a prospector and a collector with 4 limpets(roids rotate, and i move after all) if they'd redo the mechanics of it- right now i just manually scoop or i only have a collector...

Limpets expire away as they run out of power. Think lifetime is up to a maximum of 720 seconds depending on class of collector/prospector.

Literally anything you pick up with them will recoup their cost, so you're not wasting money.

You're doing it wrong then. Doesn't matter the ship, if you mine in the right place and with the right gear you'll get anywhere between 1 and 4 million an hour, more if you place the minerals through missions.

Pristine metallic rings, prospector limpets, collector limpets, c4 refinery. That's it.

They're a use once item. Cheap, disposable... You think they cost you money? Try firing missiles... When you've just started playing the cost of refitting missiles can bankrupt you.

You can force your limpets to expire early by deactivating the limpet controller using the module panel.
