Dirty drive tuning: Need For Speed

Grade 3 module and my Cutter pulls 375m/s empty, fedvette does 315, I don't even want to know how fast an FDL or Cobra could hit!

752 m/s boost in my Imp eagle, I will have better grade soon though.

Fastest Ihave seen was a bit over 800 m/s.

I've started doing an Imperial Courier for this very reason. I'm at 650m/s at boost with cruise speed at 448m/s. Need to unlock the other engineers though.

Depends what grade of drives you are going for. You can keep shields on Imp Eagle if you have grade 3 dirty drives because if you get to the optimal multiplier there is no need to make the ship any lighter.

My iEagle do something like 780 with boost. I use it for surface and canyon racing, until my face gets splattered all over a planet's surface :D

My CM3 with level 3 clean drives gets 504 boosting. My Eagle has those enhanced drives (which take almost all of its power!) but not got them modded yet, but looking forward to doing it.

Highest speed ever achieved was 875 m/s in an Imp. Eagle, done by the same guy that made the video that the comment above linked to. Source

And to answer the OP, I don't remember exactly how much, but I think I managed to push my FDL up to about 500 m/s with a max roll on a grade 5 dirty drive tuning during the 2.1 beta, on a light combat build.
