Interdiction: You spin me right round baby right round
Hi guys!

The last time I played ED was in January. Today I started it up again to play a bit and noticed one thing:

That spin of your ship when you interdict. Holy s*, I am afraid that this spin will once tear my ship apart... also not so fun if I need 10 seconds before the ship points forward again.

No point in interdiction if the one interdicted can jump out again before I regain control of my ship (or they are already too far away to catch up).

Is it something new to the FSDI or is this now "normal" for an Anaconda?

I've noticed this too. A4 FSDI on a Clipper. Sometimes its a "subtle" yaw off course. Other times its the full washing machine spin cycle while the NPC I just yanked out of supercruise plods along like nothing happened.

Maybe I'll trade in my FSDI for a different A4. I recall there used to apparently be bugged weapons that wouldn't work unless sold and rebought. Unlikely but maybe this is the case

Thrust out of it and roll in the opposite direction. Also, if your unsure as to what grabbed you, drop chaff...if helps keeping them from hitting you while you regain control.

Like I said, I don't get that all the time.
My Python gets in occasionally, but my Clipper never gets that.
Perhaps its a bug, perhaps its intended.
try counting how many times an interdicted npc has to "thrust out" of a spin after interdicting him...
