I don't think so, when I was in the US Army we used the whole NATO phonetic alphanumerics, but I think some of their letters differ.
For instance, I don't think they say Gulf, Yankee, or Zulu (They say Zebra I think for example), etc.
IIRC, it's faulcan delacey. so it's Delacey hotel echo lima.
apart from the Elite ship company names yeah :P
And I guess mine is Lakon Whiskey Oscar Whiskey
what the Devs need to do is assign every user a unique serial number for ships... they did that in Frontier Elite games... well I think they were all random cannot remember now lol...
This image for example:- http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d142/steveobhave/Ships-2.jpg
It's UK/NATO phonetic alphabet. Golf, not gulf (I odn't think anyone has ever used "gulf" as a phonetic?). And they still use yankee and zulu... Unless it's some bastardized phonetics used in game...
Just as long as we're not calling folks Delacey Adam Henry, I'm good.
on second thought, if it ain't me then I might just laugh my ass off XD
O is Oscar...not Omega. I didn't pay attention, since I am a new player, but if they said Omega, then it's not the NATO/Military alphabet.
