Check the hotspots button on the right.
In past it was Void Opals, then it was Painite, then Platinum (btw. that was in 2021
Market always changes. Currently you can get for one Musgravite 911,757 credits.
The main thing is that platinum is consistent and predictable. It's just like going to the bank to get your money. Core mining has a lot more variability. Also, a lot of fleet carriers park around the platinum hotspots and they'll buy the platinum at a good price, which cuts down travelling times a lot.
I analysed a lot of these times in my study of small mining ships. It would be great if someone did a similar objective study for core mining. I'd love to see how the Cobra core mining compares with a T6 platinum mining. Conclusions at 28:00 if you don' want to watch the whole thing

I'm nowhere near fast as you yet but with the information you've provided I can consistently grab 50 million per hour (Python) anytime I want it and that's good enough for me.
