Kind of shortsighted... Last I played the essence of this game was flying a spaceship.
Agreed... The amount of entitlement is over 9000. People come here to complain about 6-digit profits per tonne :D Meanwhile people running trade routes drool over 750k profit per cargo hold
Being fake doesn't mean it won't cool. It's a new mechanic that reacts to how frequently an item is sold. Eventually it will reset, unless people keep dumping mining products at the lower prices.
There are many interesting real life parallels but the point is, this change has been active less than a week. Saying it will never recover is like saying it will never light again after sunset, or warmth is forever denied because its winter now and so it always will be.
Thought about that too, since i didnt do mining reading about those numbers is kind of unreal when making around 10-15 mil /h was acceptable for trading in a t7.
Maybe they wanted to hit Mining and trading got a ricochet...maybe it was too hard for them to think of the repercussions (But then one must think they wouldnt play their own game...) across the board (how about limiting actual demand/supply on mining products?)... I cant give them the benefit of the doubt, Im too new of a player of this game, so its probabaly well calculated.
Now it's 3 but every other profession pays only 1 or 2 credits per liter.
Congrats Mr. Farmer. You still make more than everyone else with less risk doing a different profession.
Weird how the farmer complains about being the most wealthy...
YAY! Capitalism! It is never enough! It's the ********can way!
On the serious side. I would have a good guffaw if they "nerfed" it further.
you cant sit and spam the same mining site and sell it to the same place forever, you have to know how to find what the stations need and go get it.

This change just introduces a negative feedback loop. You grind a few hours. You take it to the station. Demand plummets and the minerals aren't worth crap. Sadness. Miners don't return. More sadness.
fixed*
Just like every other thing that opened insane cash payments. They seal these up because they don't want people getting to to anacondas and quitting. People working their way up experience more to the game than people who grab an anaconda and quit. (they also buy more arx)
Why are so many upset about the new patch? It is still the highest paid profession with the least risk.
