well when you overclock you are actually drawing more power from PSU so if you are saying that your computer is shutting down on various games then perhaps you do have a problem i suggest you download firestrike and run a benchmark and see if the problem lies within your computer
http://www.futuremark.com/benchmarks/3dmark
I have no issues with other games though, just random restarts sometimes when the computer goes to sleep. I'll try the benchmark.
Edit: I did the basic firestrike benchmark and no issues there. So idk :(
Haha, if only I had such a considerate computer! :P
If it's too small, it will do some weird stuff like rebooting.
Download the MSI gaming app and set the profile to gaming mode because i have the same problem with Asus Strix when using the OC mode in CombatZones https://us.msi.com/Graphics-card/GTX-980-Ti-GAMING-6G.html#hero-overview
This guy is running a legendary CPU probably overclocked to hell paired with a 384 bit GPU he probably has a decent PSU
2. unplug system from wall and wait 30 mins for it to fully cool down
3. remove cover
4. blow out everything if you havent done this in the last few months it will be full of dust
5. replace cover
6. plug back in
now your heat problems will be gone for about another 3-6 months.
wait i just saw you have an i7-2600 i had a i5-2500 and i want to know are you using the stock cooler on that if so thats the problem its at 70 degress that is way too high you need a new cooler get this one its cheap and will lower your temps to about 40 degrees

i used this one on my 2500 and it lowered my temps by 20 degrees its big as hell so you will need to see if it can fit in your case. and what case did you buy?
