I've heard this term a lot since I came back to the game, mostly relating to very lucrative income sources like Sothis/Ceos. What does it mean?

Its when people deliver enough Unknown Artifacts to a station to shut it down... afterwards players will have to bring meta-alloys to the station to get the station back up and working again.

No problem.... recently Fdev must of realised that stations will never get turned back on due to the ludicruis amount of metas they needed.... and how far you have to go to get them.... so they "Made an advancment in the battle agaisnt the technological plauge" and cut it in half... and now that sothis/robigo/ceos have been repaired once... they can never be UA bombed again due to the amount of meta alloys in the station that was used to counter the UA's affects.

Yeah the stations can be UA bombed again, Ceos has been bombed and has some services currently offline because of it.

It's a form of griefing as it screws new players when he/she does it to starter systems.
There is a cmdr with "mobius" who loves doing it and has said so, but the whole name and shame thing keeps me from dropping the cmdr name.
He/she will show up here to fess up to it I'm sure.
