yes RAGE post.....♥♥♥♥ this game
Interstellar Factors are your friend.
The moment you get a WANTED tag, find an Interstellar Factor. The easiest way is with Inara; there's almost always one within a couple of jumps.
Go to the Factor, pay your fine, fly in peace. Problem solved.
Cheers!
which is more bullsjhit, as any law enforcement would destroy you over it, yet you cannot pay the fine just anywhere......that ♥♥♥♥ is a real turn of to playing this game.
There needs to be some way to deal with stupid fines, for frankly stupid bull shat, without the need to worry about getting killed with a million dollars worth of cargo.....i havent played in a while, and im just about completely disenchanted with this game, i cannot believe that the way fines and enforcement work has remained unchanged....because its the most absurd example ive EVER seen in ANY game.
FIND AN INTERSTELLAR FACTOR!!!!
Sure, OK. Cops attacking for a trespassing fine is dumb. Fine. GOT IT. Now just get to a bloody IF and get it cleared up!
I mean sheesh.
I'm ripping through my Fed ranks by doing Rep +++++ Planetary Scan Jobs by the dozens; each one garners a trespassing fine. IF you don't engage in combat, you're unlikely to have to worry too much. Just complete your missions, then GO TO AN INTERSTELLAR FACTOR and pay it off.
DONE.
In Low/Medium Security and some Anarchy systems in the Bubble, many stations will have a Contact called an Interstellar Factor.
You CAN use your map to find them, but it's easiest to just use Inara. Enter your current system, look for Interstellar Factors, and the closest one will pop up. Enter the system and fly right there.
IF's are low-level bureaucrats that will - for a small fee - take care of all the little details that larger systems don't want to deal with.
There's never been a time in the Bubble (I don't often fly in such heavily-built-up areas, but working on rank at the moment) I haven't found one less than 2 jumps away.
Look - when you get a WANTED tag, DON'T engage in combat unless you WANT to fight the security ships. That's suicide unless you're SURE you can take on their entire force. Fly all the missions you want, just don't attack another ship with Security in the area. It's that simple. When you want the WANTED tag gone, go to an Interstellar Factor and he/she will make all your little problems go away with one little mouse click.
OK?
Sounds very much like it is.
Now find that IF and get the freakin' fine paid already.
