Using Advanced Planetary Approach Suite to approach a Planetary Base
Hi, I can't seem to find an answer to my exact question, so I'm asking it here: Does the Advanced Planetary Approach Suite (APAS) allow automatic approach to a planetary base with fully automated orbit and gliding (not just the surface; that one is like the only answer whenever I Googled for this question), much like how supercruise assist can help to drop a ship out of supercruise right at the doorstep of a space port?

Or the APAS is merely just for automatic landing on the planetary surface and does not change the need to glide manually to a landing point (regardless if it's a planetary surface or a base)?

There is no automatic gliding. Planetary Approach Suite just allows you to land on planets without an atmosphere. The Advanced one also allows "thin" atmosphere planets to be landed on.

Without it being installed your ship will drop at a planetary body exclusion zone.
