I'm not bitter though. Do I sound bitter? Do I?
However, you could also just have a guy in a wing with you even in an unengineered Eagle and that's actually better than any Multicrew advantage until you get meme tier and run 4 guys in a wing with 2 SLF each.
For ground stuff, with Odyssey, sure, why not, be a passenger rather than fly your own ship, and get out together, launch 2 SRVs together, do base stuff together.
Multicrew is ok for Odyssey stuff. Not so useful for space stuff.
Other players can act as gunner or fighter pilot in ships with more than one seat.
The ship needs turrets for the gunner, or a fighter hangar for that.
Physical multicrew is possible with Odyssey: all players have to meet and enter the same same ship.
Telepresence multicrew is aviable in Horizions and Odyssey: players spawn directly in the hosts ships, without the need to meet.
But most players in Elite believe that multicrew is a bad idea that betrays the real meaning of Elite: grinding credits, and hate it because it doesn't make as much money as doing the same trade loop or mining the same ring over and over again. ;-)
Agree, there's no real benefit for the crew players except for host who gets extra PIPs. Haven't used MC in EDO coz most friends are either not playing the game or rigs can't play EDO missions.
You need new friends :D
Lol, I play most an hour a day just to maintain my PMF.
