Stand by...........................
Unable to get up to date mission list from the server...
This is almost everything I see playing this game... =(

It's so frustrating that before the latest patch (and before buying Oculus) I was just having rest playing this game.
Now i'm always waiting... Wating until I see the mission board, waiting until I can turn in the mission.... Waiting until I load back to the game after the disconnect during the jump, etc. That's why i cant use oculus rift - just because most time i'm playing this game my experience is - Stand by!!!
WTF happened with it? I can play any game without any delay (WoW, Mortal Kombat XL, Overwatch etc) even those which are more demanding on latency and connection channel...
And since i'm software developer aswell, I'm asking - Dev team WTF? Are you going to fix this issue? WTF is going on? Are you under DDOS attack or something? Or should players spend more money to make you able to pay to your host provider?

PS. I'm expecting issues no matter in which mode i am (open, solo, private group created by me or private group like Mobius PVE). Any help appreciated. The problem is that sometimes everything is Ok and sometimes not

Oh, it's not just me... Also with the Oculus now, but I think this is a coincidence. Network wasn't really stable before I bought it as well.

Just logged in, tried to access missions 3x times, and closed the game.
Don`t have time to `play` not fun games, `sorry`.

This game more and more becoming loke Elite:Suffering.

Just heard about of couple of cases cmdrs broke off with playing after accasionally sold full engineered with such a huge effort their main ships. Because it so easy do do this. And so hard to fully engineer python for ex. And I`m not mentioning those like me, who have 50+ ships and dont even can get close to bothering with engineers. I really dont have such a time, guell will never for all of my life! lol

But surely awesome design desicions introdused, ahha. Have anyone seen Admiral or King doing dirty stuff of things like mining... single components!!?? For every ship in his fleet?? By himself?? Personally?? Yeeeah! Why not! :D

The Game will be completed soon (c)

Hello there

Mission board time is a known issue.
Apparently 2.2 will help a little with this.

Yes, sometimes its ok but during the time before a big update and a week or so after it is usually really bad.

On the Frontier forums customer support were asking for Netlogs from CMDRs with problems as that makes it easier for them to pinpoint the problem. But yes there is a fix coming in 2.2. Personally I don't have too many problems with the Mission Board.

Other things to check/try:
  • Whilst playing the game also play some music from a streaming site. If the music stream also stops when you lose connection then most likely the problem is on your side or the ISP. If that does occur and you are on Wifi it could be interference from other devices in your household/neignbours who are using the same Wifi channel.
  • Run a Netalyzr[netalyzr.icsi.berkeley.edu] report, which is now one of the many recommended actions on the Frontier support note: Connectivity Troubleshooting Steps[support.frontier.co.uk]
  • Another is to check the path to the game servers by running a traceroute using the IP address on the bottom-left of the Main Menu without the port number after the ':' .
When you connect to a website – say, howtogeek.com – the traffic has to go through several intermediaries before reaching the website. The traffic goes through your local router, your Internet service provider’s routers, onto larger networks, and so on.

Traceroute shows us the path traffic takes to reach the website. It also displays the delays that occur at each stop. If you’re having issues reaching a website and that website is working properly, it’s possible there’s a problem somewhere on the path between your computer and the website’s servers. Traceroute would show you where that problem is.
More info on interpreting the results: http://www.howtogeek.com/134132/how-to-use-traceroute-to-identify-network-problems/
  • Also occasionally I check Downdetector. See: http://downdetector.com/about-us/
There are links at the bottom of that page for specific countries where you can then drill-down to problems with specific ISPs, services and then down to major cities. E.g. For NL the link is http://allestoringen.nl - I've used it several times in the past months to confirm when Steam is down.
  • Or open a ticket and attach a Netlog, Netalyzr report (& traceroute results) as detailed at the end of Connectivity Troubleshooting Steps[support.frontier.co.uk]. At the LaveCon meet/conference it was mentioned by the Devs that Netlogs can be particularly helpful to identify the source of the problem, which may in turn also help others in a similar predicament.
