it depends on where you are. My dolphin paid for itself in one trip.
@OP: any ship with a large number of fairly big module slots will work however only the Dolphin, Orca, and Beluga can equip luxury cabins.
Dolphin is a solid choice if you are just getting into passenger missions.
Plus it’s a fun ship to fly. Uber nimble in SC and regular space too.
It really depends on where you are, some places will favor economy, and some first class or business.
But the Anaconda is king.
You'll obviously want one for any long haul missions.
Like, in theory the Anaconda can have something like a 43ly per jump range. But it can only do that like 3 times before you need to gas up.
i made a butt load, and have not worked since
This is true, to a point. It depends on how frequently you fuel scoop. If you do it at every single star on your trip to top off your tank, you can easily make do with a smaller one (assuming you don't get like 7 brown dwarf / tauri stars in a row). If you go til you're nearly empty then gas up, yeah, you'll want a large fuel scoop unless you enjoy looping the star 12 times.
For example, any time I go long-range in my Python I pack my 6C fuel scoop (the B and A versions don't seem worth extra money). My next hop is nearly always like a 1/4 orbit around or to the side of the star, and the fuel scoop has usually completely topped off my tank by the time I've lined up to jump. It EASILY fills up the tank if it's anything like half an orbit. It's honestly overkill in most cases unless I get the aforementioned 7+ jumps without a fuel star.
♥♥♥♥ man, Brunel is still king for that. I almost wanna go to new dawn just for kicks.
