Mission follow Ally NPC

So i made some progress in a system by made quests for them.
I became a Radiomessage with a mission. I accepted.
Ok i jump to the system and the NPC ask me to follow him. "Finally i found you. I am going out of Frameshift. Can you follow me so we can talk? "
But how the hell can i follow him if i even dont see his ship/Name on my Contactlist ?
This guy seems to be an agent and he is not able to send me his signature so i can identify him?
I scanned all ships around me but he is not there.
I have there 4 Policeships wich are shown as ally so i followed them.
Then his Message appears again. I really tought : " You F*** kidding me? " The design of these missions is really garbage.
I did fly trough the whole system but i was not able to identify him.

How can i identify him?

Controlling ship is hard Yeah i like that. Give me the feeling i really learned to use the ship.It makes me proud to make progress. Thats a part of the game i really like.
But guessing over and over again what to do is not fun. Its frustratring like hell and makes me often to give up a mission because i become desperate.
On some parts this game is a riddle.

Sorry if i sound agressive but i am really annoyed right now because giving up missions over and over again goes on immersion.

look for fds low wakes and then lock it and fly towards it like you would to a station then safe disengage you will see the contact sitting there waiting for you he will upload the data automaticly , piece of cake ;)

the low wake will have the contacts name


tip: use the contacts page in the left MFD display third page

Edit: i had him for short time but then he is gone in FSD. I dont have a scanner installed so its impossble to find him.

you only have to drop out of super cruise and then go back to super cruise to respawn him, how fast were you going?


edit: he never disapear so you cant loose him LOL

slowest possible in frameshift.
After i had him as Target i increased my speed and i only saw his signature.

I bought a Frameshiftscanner now maybe it helps to find him.

listen you dont need a scanner for this


when you see his message in the top left he will say something like "relax I came to find you "

then stop the speed and wait for his next message, which will be "I am dropping please follow me"

then in the contacts screen you will find his low wake and then you lock it and fly toward it in the blue speed, 75% cut youre fsd drive when the blue text appear

how shall i do it if i have him only around 10 secs in target ?
i try to follow him and then i see this

i did it now.
but i only stopped at his trail and he was there. before that the Trail disappeared always.
