Cannot connect to matchmaking server

I've been having this problem from two to three weeks now but it used to run normaly before. I'm not sure if there were any updates somewhere in the middle to the game or to windows.

What I have is an internet gateway that also acts as a router to which I am connected through wi-fi. I redownloaded the game four weeks ago and have been playing for a week everyday with no problems at all. But out of the blue I started getting theese connection errors all the time. I've tried the solutions that I found on the net (redownload game, connect directly to router, port forwarding, starting a game in a private group instead of solo or open and so on...) but it still does the same thing.

I don't have any more ideas what to try so that it would work. Does anyone have the same problem and has found a way to fix this? Thanks for the help...

Maybe your save at Frontier's servers got corrupted? I had a similar problem, when any attempt to swap my ships was always giving me that error and dropping me. Finally, I sent a support ticket, and the next day it was working again, after they fixed my save. Worth a try.

My guess is you have tried everything in this already, have a quick check through just in case and submit a ticket with a netlog file. https://support.frontier.co.uk/kb/faq.php?id=375

I used to have the same issue some time ago, that suddenly after an update I would constantly get disconnects after a few seconds or minutes or couldn't connect at all. Frontier support couldn't really help me, but I found the above mentioned link and it solved my problem. It instantly went from disconnecting and matchmaking issues to absolutely no issues at all.

Give it a try.
