Your AFK Build & How you do Your AFK Farm?
I’m sitting at 49% combat rank expert and I've started doing AFK farming again. Saving up for the Fleet Carrier and want at least 10 billion before buying. AFK pirate farming is my biggest way of making credits. Everyone has different ways of making credits but AFK is my way.

Now that my rank in combat is higher, I’m getting tougher NPCs interdicting me, that I had to change up the way I’ve been doing AFK. When I pick up missions at 3 different systems, I’ll use my Mamba for that and it is my highest dps ship out of the three for farming. I make sure now to only grab one mission from each faction leader in a system, I also don’t use a kill warrant scanner anymore. I would rather just finish off the missions as quickly as possible and get paid up to 30 million for a mission. After I've grabbed all my missions, I’ll take out the Corvette and get all the interdictions taken care of and it is a very fun ship to fly. All interdictions taken care of, I’ll head out in my Type 10 and this is the only time I won’t be in VR. Last night I fell asleep and thought for sure I would have taken damage and lost my NPC pilot but, all was good. Got a great tip from Genitor and have your cargo hatch at lvl 3 priority just in case your ship gets into trouble and might survive after losing all your cargo.

Just curious how others do there AFK and how you build your ship.

That is a beast of a setup - and fixed weapons on a T-10? I guess you'd need FA off! 😁

Yeah looking at the blueprint, they are spread to far even for frags. I'll go gimballed on the frags and will see how well the flachettes knock out the external modules like chaff.

Changed it up. One beam up top and bottom. Two Large frags and two small for corrosive and drag. I do this, I won't need to engineer this build at all, I got it all.

Edit: 1,012.7 Dps lol Get some. Sometimes I can get in two volleys with the flachettes before the NPCs go red. Goes through shields and just wrecks modules. Going to try it out next round.

The flachettes are garbage, not working like before update. All frags, beam and pulse now.

Last night with mostly Frags and 2 large beam, and 2 small pulse on a T-10. Killed a wing consisting of one Anaconda and 2 Clippers faster then my Corvette can. Frags are so OP that I find it not challenging at all. We need more variety of weapons for ships in this game.

I guess with the frags you need to get up fairly close - and don't you run out of ammo really quick with double-shot?

NPCs come to you and the frags make quick work on them and rearming the mats aren't bad. If I run out I'll just head back and go in the AFK build. I'm just staying in the AFK build for the Type-10 now. Use the Corvette for Haz-Rez.

Tonight my time, should be close to 3 billion, moving fast. Almost died yesterday with the AFK T-10. Don't get it I still had cargo left and my cargo hatch was set to 3 for priority. I should have dropped all my cargo when that module gets destroyed. No still had all my cargo and my hull was down to 3 percent. Dropping all module reinforcements for the AFK build. Having your cargo hatch go first is a good safety feature for your ship not blowing up. If you loose all your cargo the pirates will leave you alone.

I paid too much for all my ships to go AFK. I would never do this. Good way to wake up to a rebuy screen.
