FDL Cockpit Offset

Can someone please explain to me WTF is with the cockpit offset in the FDL???? My OCD is screaming at me every time i jump into that magnificent beast. Frontier WTF were you thinking??? SORT THAT ♥♥♥♥ OUT!!!

Also, try Mamba, it's similar but doesn't have that awful A-frame.

If you dislike offsets like me, Dodge the Adder, Imperial Clipper and Cutter, FDL, Mamba, and Python.

Join Krait Gang. Chieftain gang is also cool. Fed Assault Ship gang is reasonable.

Have just engineered some burst lasers on my MKII and some STD multi cannons will see how she goes :)

Don't care about the offiset seating. I care about the strut that goes right through the countdown timer.

I run two Medium Bursts (Efficient, Phasing Sequence), three Large Multicannons (2x Overcharged Auto Loader, 1x High Capacity Corrosion), with a Fixed Beam Taipan. Pretty balanced damage, and NPC pilots handle fixed beam very well at any skill level.

Takes basically no Pips to Weap, so you just keep Eng and Sys up constantly. Krait is very sensitive to it's very good power Distributor

I threw three Cytoscramblers in the SSS slots and boy oh boy if I get within 500m shields no longer exist. Also got guardian shield boosters recently, so I'm still tweaking the Chief a bit.
Extremely fun, centerline seat, no A-frames. Cozy

Is the Mamba off-centre?? Never looked it to me, and certainly not like the FDL. Also, a huge hardpoint backed by two large is just awesome

Mamba has a perfectly centered seat. And why it's superior to the FDL in every way.

The Clipper might be offset but you barely notice it. I'm assuming neither of you guys drive a car? Or that the only cars you drive are either a McLaren F1 or the Keaton-era Batmobile? 🤣
