repair limpet question

So i am using them and started noticing an inconsistancy: sometimes a repair limpet repairs 4% of my hull, sometimes 18%. Same ship. Same place. i just deploy them one after another and i dont know what affects it's effectiveness.

Maybe there is a random factor? Anything in the description of the controller? Not used one myself.

no, it is not dependent on hull integrity, maybe the hull reinforcement will affect how much is restored, but i never changed my internals. Also i noticed a bug where if you repair your ship completely via AFMU and repair limpets you can still "repair" the ship at the station, even thou everything is at 100% integrity.

I guess having more hp wil decrease/increse the percentage of revocery displayed, but since he said same ship I doubt it's that

I had at all times 1 hull reinforcement class 5d, BUT in some cases it was damaged.I suspect that it's integrity affects the repair rate. Need testing.
