Best way to deal with Thargon (Thargoid swarm)?
I'm into thargoid hunting lately, but I found out that the swarm is kinda difficult to deal with. I tried to kill them all, they respawned shortly. I tried to left some of them alive, they still respawned.

So, what's the best way to deal with them?

My problem is they're always instantly respawn right after I kill them all. I thought it supposed to respawn after another heart is destroyed, right?
Yeah, but there's the initial swarm, so if you kill a heart before the first swarm you're kinda out of synch a bit and you need to kill 2 swarms.

To be honest, it depends on your ship, the thargoid type, your weapon loadout and level of engineering.
If you have a guardian weapons, python or bigger ships and engineered it and you are facing up against a cyclops, well... the swarm are pretty much a waste of time, just keep close and unload everything and with some good aiming you can kill it within a minute flat and even before it fires its emp.

Edit: I don't think a smaller ship than a Krait could pull that off, and it seems the Krait canopy is a bit... exposed. And don't even try that stunt vs. a Basilisk unless you really want to see that rebuy screen, atleast not until we see class 3 rails.

Get a multicrew member and deploy them in your fighter and then tell them to engine boost like hell. The Thargon swarm will fly away chasing them

And then u can blow them to hell with your flak launcher

Flak or frag cannons from gameplay I've seen

This works best. I just tank it and finished much faster than trying to deal with the swarm first. Well, it's just Cyclops, so... yeah, the combat itselft isn't that hard ;)

Thank you
