Suppose I'm "searching for market" in the commodity market filter

How exactly do I select a station or system in the map after I've filtered it for commodity supply/demand? When I select it, the map acts like I've just targeted it in my nav window rather than for the commodity market filter. Thanks.

what do you mean? If you want to look up commodities and what stations buy/sell them then use inara

He's talking about ingame, not 3rd party pages.



OP you can search for the system name on the galaxy map.
(2nd or 3rd tab; you should also be able to "plot route to market")

Is there a way to get all the market data tabulated in the commodity market screen on-station though? When I try to select the market in the map from the station's commodity market filter it doesn't seem to "take," it just selects the station in my map and doesn't do anything in the commodity market screen.

When i want to compare buy/sell, i first open the commodity page of course, after that i search for a station or select one.

Clicking "apply" is needed for the comparison to show up.

If you're between systems, selecting the cargo in your inventory and then "view in galaxy map", is another way to find prices; they will be more recent if you've visited recently.
(it is also tied to buying market information from the galaxy map)

It's a bit finicky to figure out, but it does work. xD

I know what you mean. In the Compare utility at a station you go to the option to "select on galaxy map" or whatever it is, and it just takes you there - no way to feed that back to the Compare utility itself. If you find a solution I'd be interested!
